Growing up in the coastal wilds of Point Reyes, I developed a deep connection to nature through childhood exploration and my father’s scientific curiosity. With a background in graphic design and a lifelong commitment to art, I eventually stepped away from commercial work to follow my own creative path. Today, I work from a light-filled backyard studio in Northern California, where beeswax, damar resin, pigment, photographic processes, paper, and found materials come together in cohesive series, including Novel Blooms, Ruffled Realities, and Inherited Light. Some works incorporate three-dimensional elements or attached materials, extending beyond the picture plane and enhancing their physical presence. All pieces are archival, one-of-a-kind, and professionally finished.
